Her main competencies are in her ability to adhere to organizational principles, ethics and values, ability to plan, organize and manage workload, ability to work systematically and maintain quality.

She is able to initiate actions and provide direction to staff, communicate decisions clearly and fluently to others, negotiate and manage conflicts effectively, provide guidance and support to staff for their development. Keeping to laid down regulations and procedures, basic interviewing skills promotion and research, ability to delegate or assigned responsibilities and demand for accountability and evaluate performance.

As regional head the following few achievements were realized in the midst of the numerous challenges: Held one Regional Population Advisory meeting on teenage pregnancy and effects of family planning on development. A day’s workshop on the consequences of harmful cultural practices in Ada Foh. It was in collaboration with Ghana Health Service and Department of Gender.

Regional highlights on yearly world population Day celebration. Radio talk shows on population and development. Some collaborators meetings with stakeholders and made valuable contributions to the discussions.

Serving on two committees at the national level. Response to media calls on topical issues bordering on population and development. Effective management of staff and the office.

Provided satisfactory responses to individuals who came to the office premises for knowledge on the work of NPC. Analysis on greater Accra distinct profiles designed by Ghana Statistical Service.
